How to Stream Skype (or any Mac app) to MadMapper

You can use the free application Syphoner to capture any application window, including Skype – and easily share it live with MadMapper.

This is done through the Syphon protocol, with is already built into MadMapper on Mac.  Syphon is a way for applications to share live video.

Once you select a window to capture in Syphoner, you should see it instantly appear as a video source in MadMapper under the “Syphon” source section.

Note for PC users

On PC, the equivalent to Syphon is Spout, but unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be any Spout-enabled screen-capture apps available like Syphoner.
